New Regulations to Govern 403b Plans
Although the new IRS regulations take effect January 1, 2009, employers
(churches) should weigh their options well before the deadline. Overall,
the new regulations require employers to increase oversight of their
retirement savings plans. Employers remitting contributions to the Retirement
Savings Plan (Fidelity Investments) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
as of January 1, 2009, must complete and return an Adoption
Agreement
